This exhibition is a collaboration between artists Maia Malakoff, Katherine Luna, and Sarah Leiva. Through the recontextualization of the body and material, the trio of artists explore the connective points between their personal practices and those of their communities and genealogies. By placing historical practices such as weaving, ceramics, and metalworking in conversation with each other, they prioritize the rituals of their crafts as identifiers of those who they are in community with. Malakoff, Luna, and Leiva transform the curated art gallery into a space to gather and explore with care.
